I have been told by my wife that I am too critical of artists such as Maria Carey,Alycia Keys,Beyounce. I wonder sometimes what we call music? Where are the musicians/singers/writers? Did jazz come from what culture? did it come from africa? if so it was a beautiful thing.for all of it was not wrote down,but paseed down. Now there is rap/hip hop. is it art(verbal) or music?
